If you provided us with your phone number and have consented to receive text messages from BVS, you may receive messages related to, but not limited to, the following topics: 1) Appointment reminders, 2) Follow-up messages, 3) Services performed, 4) Medication reminders, 5) Retrieval times, 6) New information posts, 7) Vaccination reminder, and 8) Billing reminders.

- Appointment reminders: “Hello, this is a reminder of your upcoming appointment with BVS on [Date] at [Time] at the following location [Location]. Please reply Yes to confirm.”
- Follow-up messages: “Hello, this is BVS. We wanted to follow-up with you to learn how [Name of animal] is doing following the recent appointment. Please let us know.”
- Services performed: “Thank you for allowing us to treat [Name of animal]. We hope you are pleased with our services. Please contact us with any questions.”
- Medication reminders: “It is time to pick-up new medication for [Name of animal]. Your prescription refill is ready for pickup.”
- Retrieval times: “[Name of animal] will be ready for pick-up after [Time] today. Please make arrangements for pick-up. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from BVS at any time. ”
- New information posts: “We thought you might be interest in reading the new information we posted to our website. Click on this link to read the article [Insert link to article on the website]. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from BVS at any time.”
- Vaccination reminder: “Reminder: [Name of animal] is due for vaccinations. Please call or text to schedule.”
- Billing reminder: “Earlier we sent you a bill for our services. We have yet to receive payment from you. Please arrange to pay the amount due at your earliest opportunity. Thank you.”
Message Frequency: The frequency of messages you may receive from BVS will vary depending on the type of communication you require for the services we provide. You may receive up to five messages or more per week, depending on your communication preference and your service needs. As an example: “Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 5 SMS messages or more per week regarding your appointments, account status or your service needs. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from BVS at any time”.
Potential Fees for SMS Messaging: Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
Opt-In Method: You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from BVS in the following ways: 1) Verbally, during a conversation, 2) by submitting an online form, 3) by filling out a paper form.
Opt-Out Method: You can opt out from receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you may contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.
