We are a mixed animal practice
located in the Ohio city of Bucyrus,
offering the best care for your pets and livestock.

Care for your pets when you need to keep them healthy and happy. We also care for them when they are not feeling their best.We have in-house blood work, urinalysis and other testing available.

FARM VISITS

Livestock can be seen at your facilities or be brought into the office in some cases. Daily options available for appointments. We are fully accredited to perform testing such as Coggins, Brucellosis, and many more regulatory tests.

Grooming

From trimming nails to a complete shave down and all in between. Baths can be offered daily with a professional groomer coming in to our office weekly.

Boarding & Day Care

Safe and clean facilities for our clients’ pets are available. You can enjoy your travel while your pets stay with us. Dogs are walked daily and cats are kept comfortable while you are away. Vaccinations must be current prior to their stay.

Please note: Due to high demand, boarding services are provided for established clients only.

Dental Care

We are also your pets’ dentist and will correct dental problems as your pet ages. Oral health promotes good overall health in your pet and can also protect the body from bacteria injuring the liver, heart or other organs.

EMERGENCY CARE

24-hour care for established clients to provide piece of mind when you can’t predict a health problem. Non-client emergency hours can vary. By calling the main clinic line at 419-562-2224 follow the prompts you should be directed to Dr. Schieber. We are not 24-hour staffed so for critical emergencies we recommend using MedVet Columbus, OH or the Ohio State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

SURGERY

We offer a variety of surgical procedures in the clinic with a fully-equipped surgery suite. We use modern methods and personal monitoring to ensure your procedure is as safe and pain-free as possible.

VACCINATIONS

Intended to prevent disease and protect your pet or livestock. We customize programs for your animals based on risk and lifestyle.

MICRO CHIPPING

A valuable form of permanent identification that help in getting lost pets home. We use Datamars chips that are smallest for application in the industry and easily registered and maintained.
